CONGRATULATIONS TEAM SAVE BUZZARDS BAY

TeamSaveBuzzardsBay.org arrived in Annapolis in the Mens Under 50 Category. Jim LeBelle, Tim Bryant, Chaney Becker and Chris Lake arrived at 2:09am after 7 days, 8 hours and 42 minutes on the bike. Over the journey they averaged 17.1mph.

Jim, Tim, Chaney and Chris raced with a goal to increase awareness for cycling in our community and to raise money for the Coalition For Buzzards Bay to help protect & preserve the watershed. When they are 65 years old they know this will be something they won’t regret. "Hopefully this will inspire our children to chase their dreams and live life with great ambitions." Team SaveBuzzardsBay.org wants to prove that anything is possible when you set your mind to it and anyone can overcome struggles so that you can live your dream.

Tim Bryant mentioned after the race that they lost two riders early on but they eventually came back and helped the team to the finish.

This team worked well together and they showed that with good team-work and ambition, you can get far. They can be proud of their effort.

Congratulations TeamSaveBuzzardsBay.org - Well Done!

Jim and Team: Well well done! Big congratulations all around - an amazing accomplishment. "Thank you" seems a bit inadequate for all your efforts - but on behalf of the Coalition (and the Bay and Watershed): Thank you!!!

A highly contested field of racers battle for supremacy with such a large field (at time of this update 17 teams) the winners will be those that are fast in the saddle and supported by seamless crews who set-up each rider exchange without delay. If you stop moving forward all other teams are gaining 1 mile on you on an average of every 3 minutes.
