CONGRATULATIONS GEORGIA CHAIN GANG - 1ST

Georgia Chain Gang won the 4 person 50-59 category.

Jerome Rossetti, Dave Armento, Tony Myers and David Dowdakin arrived at Annapolis at 1:26am. They spent 7 days, 8 hours and 6 minutes on the bike averaging 17.16mph.

They were supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jerome has done several events with Team in Training and when you see the small children that are stricken with those blood cancers it's very heart breaking.

Yes!! We are supporting Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It is one of the best causes out there. They have helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars to help fight Leukemia and Lymphoma - the most common form of cancer among children.

They also finished the race with only three riders. Dave Armento broke his hip in Illinois and needed surgery so he couldn't be with his teammates at the finish. At the finish line Jerome Rossetti said the team adjusted it's strategy and continued to Annapolis.

Team unity, spirit and courage was on display in their ride. They all cooperated and rode well. They can be proud of their efforts.

Congratulations Georgia Chain Gang - Well Done!

A highly contested field of racers battle for supremacy with such a large field (at time of this update 17 teams) the winners will be those that are fast in the saddle and supported by seamless crews who set-up each rider exchange without delay. If you stop moving forward all other teams are gaining 1 mile on you on an average of every 3 minutes.
