Great Grand PAC Masters - Extraordinary

Lee Mitchell, Robert E. Kash, Lew Meyer and Chris Stauffer - you are extraordinary athletes.

You accomplished something amazing. Something beyond my belief. You four guys are an inspiration to anyone out there. If I had your fitness levels when I was over 75 years of age, I would be a happy man.

Your ride over the last 8 days was awesome. No words can describe it.

At 6:07AM, Great Grand PAC Masters finished RAAM in 2009. They were the third group to finish after Wyss and Team Type 1. That itself is something amazing.

What I can't believe is the speed this group averaged. 14.61mph. That's right folks. 14.61mph. If your eyes can't believe it, read it again. 14.61mph. AMAZING! For 3021 miles, you extraordinary athletes can look forward to 2010. I look forward to seeing you ride again. This performance is astonishing.

A highly contested field of racers battle for supremacy with such a large field (at time of this update 17 teams) the winners will be those that are fast in the saddle and supported by seamless crews who set-up each rider exchange without delay. If you stop moving forward all other teams are gaining 1 mile on you on an average of every 3 minutes.
